The Home Healthcare Center provides professional nursing and medical care in the comfort of a patient's home. Under a physician's prescription and care plan, certified home healthcare nurses visit patients to deliver ongoing treatment, nursing care, and health management services.

In response to an aging population and evolving healthcare needs, Central Hospital operates the Home Healthcare Center to provide patient-centered, integrated healthcare services that extend beyond the hospital setting.

  • Home Healthcare Nursing

    Certified home healthcare nurses visit patients at home and provide nursing care and treatments prescribed by the attending physician.

  • Medical Care at Long-Term Care Facilities

    Designated physicians regularly visit affiliated long-term care facilities to evaluate residents' health conditions and provide medical consultations and treatment.

Eligibility for Home Healthcare Services

  • Patients with chronic illnesses requiring
    continuous management, including cerebrovascular disease,
    diabetes, spinal cord injury, heart disease, and
    pulmonary disease

  • Patients requiring postoperative wound
    care or suture removal

  • Patients with advanced cancer, elderly patients, or individuals with limited mobility who have difficulty visiting the hospital

How to Apply

Inpatients : Consult with the attending physician or nursing staff during hospitalization.

Outpatients : Request a referral through the attending physician during an outpatient visit.

Service Area

Home healthcare services are generally available within approximately 20 km of the hospital or within a one-way travel time of approximately 30 minutes. Coverage areas include Siheung, Ansan, Incheon, Selected areas of Gyeonggi Province

Fees

  • Basic Home Visit Fee

    General Health Insurance Beneficiaries: 20% Rare, Severe, and Intractable Diseases: 10% Cancer Patients: 5%

  • Treatment and Medical Supply Charges

    Fees are subject to the reimbursement standards established by the National Health Insurance system and may vary depending on the classification of the medical institution.
